We had the unique privilege to enjoy a real five-star flight from Bali to Sofia, and the pleasure and admiration were beyond description. There is no better option for transportation, especially on the longer flights, those over 6-7 hours. On this plane everything is five stars! We’re talking about Qatar Airways’ business class, which is called QSuite. It has been recognized as the best business class in the world for the last 10 years!

The incredible journey of the really expensive customers starts right at the Denpasar Terminal in Bali, where the airline has its own protocol for receiving the Privilege Service customers.
Qsuite’s lounge is decorated in the typical Qatar Airways colours of burgundy red and grey. Passengers are offered a choice of several saloons, as well as the option to change seats if they wish. There they receive a blanket, pillows, a set of necessities, pyjamas. The “Qsuite” cabins in the middle of the saloon are formed in a group of four seats, two by two facing each other. They can be closed from all sides. It’s all about convenience – the seats are ergonomic, there’s a media panel built into the side of the table with USB and HDMI inputs, buttons for the seat and lights, and a remote control. Everything is at your fingertips.

Each seat is crafted with thoughtful and luxurious details, such as hand-stitched Italian leather and a pink satin finish, creating an unprecedented level of luxury, privacy and style. In addition to the comfortable seats that passengers can enjoy, Qatar Airways offers a food and beverage concept with a menu including many choices.
Alongside the existing ‘dine on demand’ service, the new business class menu offers a selection of in-flight ‘shared meals’ that will allow travellers to turn dining at 10,000m into a social experience. an “Express Breakfast” wake-up call will be available for people who choose to sleep more and take advantage of the “Do Not Disturb” option at the door of their private QSuite. Each cabin has a sliding door to provide privacy for passengers.

Food and drink is something that should never be missed. They serve the champagne first – no matter the time of departure. The crew kindly explains that breakfast can be served at any time and in general, meals may be served in sequence according to the travellers’ wishes.
In addition to porridge, all cold appetizers deserve attention – smoked salmon, cheddar cheese, fruits, vegetables, eggs. Everything is delicious and most importantly – fresh.
Travellers receive a basket of croissants and a chocolate muffin, which are almost like they’ve just come out of a French bakery. The table is well arranged, with a tablecloth, a little flickering light for an atmosphere that imitates candlelight.

After you’ve eaten, it’s time to watch films. Or play with the seats. The buttons are very intuitive and it’s easy to find and adjust the position that’s most comfortable for you.
The screens are of the highest quality and as large as 22 inches, so no need to reformat the films. The headsets are much better than those on most other airlines.
After the film, you can browse a sophisticated wine list with white, red, and rosé wines.
When the plane lands in Doha, passengers take advantage of the airline’s Al Maha VIP service. A representative is waiting for them in front of the plane on the runway. He leads the passengers into a VIP bus with super comfortable seats, then to the terminal where they must go through a passport check. There are no queues, just a luxury lounge for arrivals who can order a coffee and go through the border office whenever they choose. Best of all, there is a Border Patrol representative in the lounge itself.

When you decide to take off from Doha, you will go through the VIP lounge at the airport. “Waiting room” is hardly the most appropriate phrase. Rather, it’ is a glossy designer lobby designed for the business class. Its central place is occupied by а glittering spiral staircase. There are game rooms in the lobby where children and adults can have fun playing PlayStation or driving a Formula 1 simulator. And at the base of the staircase, you can see a stunning 15-metre infinity pool.
Qatar Airways is the national carrier of Qatar and is one of the fastest growing airlines in the world, having become a symbol of high quality, reliability, and an excellent luxury experience. The company has 235 aircraft flying to more than 175 key business and leisure destinations on six continents.
